I would use this shoe for dress and casual. Comfortable, well fitting. I would really rather for the heel to have been white.

These are beautiful and, for the most part, comfortable. However, one of the straps used to make the knot on the left shoe is twisted, causing it to dig into the top of my foot every time I wear them. I didn't exchange them because I was afraid of getting a pair where BOTH of the knots hurt, but this is something to be aware of. For what it's worth, the knot on the right shoe doesn't rub at all and feels just fine. If Trotters wants to send me a new left shoe, that'd be great!

I purchased the "Cognac" color two years ago and loved them worn with pants, crops, and dresses. Comfy, showed off my pedicure, and looked great. Rarely do I ever buy the same style, but the "Pearl" was on sale and I couldn't resist. Same great fit. I'm looking forward to wearing them in a few weeks and throughout the summer.
