I really love the look of this shoe and so does my husband. I did have to put a cushion on the inside of the shoe where the buckle is because that was a bit painful the first time I wore them. I almost returned them because of that but my husband loved them so much I instead put a little adhesive cushion and that took care of it.

This shoe looks good with slacks as well as a dress. I wore these shoes right out of the box the first time to a social function. No "break in" period needed.

I have another pair of Trotters almost identical to these that are so comfortable. When I saw these, I could hardly wait to order them. What a disappointment! They were uncomfortable, felt tight and I couldn't wear them. Returned them immediately. Would love to find a pair like the original ones that I purchased.
